A muse is, preferably a woman, someone who becomes a creative inspiration for an artist to grow fonder of his craft.

If Andy Warhol had Edie Sedgewick, I have my own too. You see her often here. We started with a little set, from a shoot in my first apartment here in Davao (See it here). From there, our second shoot was Strange and Beautiful, where she wore a black corset and her hair was tangerine. And then we had our first shoot for SOUL Lifestyle, Bend/Break set. And we had our billboard shoot, All Things Beautiful.

It’s nice, remembering how we both became real close friends because of these art stuff. She’s a dancer, and a singer at times, and sometimes she builds this imaginary joke hall when she just talks and talks and talks.

Her beauty, too is the beautiful kind of exotic. The kind of beauty which I don’t see in everyone’s faces.

She’s Louise Anne Subido, and she is my muse. 

NOTE: In this set, she is raw. No make up, just her in those Pickled and Peppered clothes.

We might get somewhere far, and we might forget each other soon. I’ll look at these photos when I get old, and remember how these photos got me a real friend.

Skyscrapers are high, and to be at the top is what we dream of. But I’ve got a little note in my pocket, and I’d like to share it to you. “It’s lonely up there.”

My dreams are skyscrapers, but I refuse to be blown away by the mighty wind and get me up there. I’d like to be on the ground, where I can be safe and sound, while dreaming of being up there. I refuse to let my feet be off the ground, and I hope you do too.
