All Things Beautiful (Pickled and Peppered Billboard Shoot)

All Things Beautiful - The photoset I owe you, I think. I haven’t posted my outputs during the billboard and ad campaign shoot of Pickled and Peppered, and here they are. These shots were not printed yet, but they will be.

If you’re in Davao, and you have been to Gaisano Mall’s Fashion Walk, you might recognize the PICKLED AND PEPPERED: YOUNG BLOOD big print in Pickled and Peppered’s window display, I photographed that. And honestly, I am proud of that. Plus, just this January, the first month of the year, I received a call from Ate Mimi that my first billboard was already out at Gaisano Mall’s parking lot.

I had the most amazing year ender last 2011, and an awesome, ego-boosting kick off start for 2012.

I’d like for you to see this, the remaining shots. I hope you could drop by Pickled and Peppered sometimes, and shop there of course and look at the prints I have shot for them.

So, here they are.

The billboard shot.

My proposed billboard.

The 87 inch print at the mall.

Yes, again, here I go with the credits.

Ate Mimi Vergara Tupas and your hubby, Jun Tupas, thank you for this opportunity. I wouldn’t say a lot now, but I’d like you to know how much of a blessing you have been to me, and I thank God for that… a million times. James Bautista, thank you for assisting! You da best. Farrah Garcia, thank you for helping out during the shoot. Of course, LUXELAB make up artistry (Tiny Pinilli, Momo Bendanillo and Mae Anne Cortes), for the make up! Models, Michael Lu, Jackie Jimenez, and my lovely muse, LA Subido… Thank you! :D We all did a good job!

Just a thought - I’m seventeen and it’s not common to have these kinds of opportunities. But I’ve worked hard for this, it’s not a feather from the sky falling directly on my palms. It’s a big stone trying to get in my stomach through my esophagus. What I’m trying to say is that, I’ve gone through a lot during my early years. The process of creating an art identity, the process of improving, the process of innovating, and all the processes. It’s so hard, and if you’re patient enough… All the hard work will pay off.

*insert* Concept styling, styling, and photography by Aidx Paredes. :D

It’s a life long journey, take three things with you. Trust, passion, and faith. Trust in yourself and the people around you. Passion for what you are doing. And faith… Faith in Him, that in the end, as He promised, everything gets better.

That’s all for now.
