UP DHARMA DOWN

Sunday, January 15, 2011. Abreeza was filled with the music of the adored - Up Dharma Down.

Okay, that was too formal.

Up Dharma Down went to Davao for the second time, I guess. It’s their second time to perform in front of the Davao crowd, and I guess, this time a lot came because I know that the kind of music they play have captured the heart of the listeners. Or, they have slowly become mainstream.

I am in love with them, I swear to whoever is up there. I don’t care whether they are mainstream or indie, their music will never change and my heart will always love the beat, my ears will always hear the words, and my mind will always record the whole song and play it on repeat in my lonely days.

Here are the pictures I took.

Outside the barricade that separated the people who had tickets and who had none. “Is there anyway that everyone can get inside?” Armi asked. But no one answered, and not everyone got in.

My musical muse.

Girls and their expensive equipments.

One of my favorite indie couples. Tuesday Muse and her man muse, Vn.

The people and their lovely appreciation to UDD’s music.

Isn’t she lovely?

Carlos or Ian. I don’t know. But when I went outside to smoke, they were there at around 9PM. Got too shy to talk to them.

The guitar man who gave my friend his orange pick.

They played Tadhana, and all they gave me were chills running down my spine.

The end.
